Knutsford’s May Day Artisan Market

Another lovely day today wandering round Knutsford’s Artisan Market; giving into temptation at vintage china stalls, flicking through the worn spines of old books packed in a scuffed leather suitcase, eating raspberry sauce smothered ice cream cones and talking to friends.

I am hoping to do next month’s market…and if it is anything like today’s I am really excited at the prospect 😉

My favourite stall today was Juliette Hamilton’s willow sculptures. I have adored them since first seeing her at last year’s Tatton Flower Show and Toby was completely enamored by her lifesized horse, the fox (with whiskers!!) and a whole flock of chickens.

I would just love to do one of her courses.

Oh and yes…I did succumb to some fabulous temptation a the vintage china stalls and added these to my collection 😉
